Self-Pay Without Insurance
Patients with no insurance are responsible for all costs associated with our visits. For new patients, our costs range from $300-$400. For return patients, the cost ranges from $200-$300. We do require that 50% of the costs are due at the time services are rendered; the remainder will be put into a payment agreement also at the time services are rendered.
Insurance
- Pediatric GI accepts most major insurances, as well as Medicaid and Healthy Kids. However, it is still important that you call you insurance carrier and verify we are in network.
- A referral is required from ALL insurances as we are a specialist, we require a referral for all new patients.
- ALL HMO/UHC MEDICAID/HUMANA MCD/TRICARE PRIME – All of these insurances require an electronic referral/authorization from the primary care that is listed on your insurance.
- You are responsible for a deductible, co-insurance, or co-pay if your insurance requires one. This will be due at the time services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
Procedures
- Contact your insurance prior to scheduling a procedure with us to verify your potential out of pocket costs.
- Please keep in mind that with procedures you will receive collection calls from the facility you are scheduled with regarding estimated costs associated with your procedure. Costs are based off of your deductible, out of pocket and co-pay/co-insurance. All patients will be required to pay a range of 50% to 100% of the costs at the time of this call. This is based on facility preference.
- You should also expect that you will have more than one bill associated with your procedure. Our office will send a bill for the physician fee. You may also receive a bill from Anesthesia from the facility. You may also receive a separate bill from the lab covered by your insurance for any specimens that are sent for review.
